Wall Mounting Konto Acoustic Panels with Henkel Adhesive Tape

Henkel’s double-sided construction tape (pictured: Pattex equivalent) is well-suited for mounting Konto acoustic panels on walls. The tape is easy to use, provided a few key points are considered:

Before Mounting

• The wall surface must be clean, dry, and smooth. Avoid attaching to uneven, dusty, or damp surfaces.
• If the wall has been painted recently, ensure the paint is fully cured. Drying time can take several weeks, and any solvents evaporating from the paint (e.g., water) will weaken the tape’s adhesion.

Mounting Instructions

1. Cut pieces of tape approximately 4–5 cm long.
2. Attach the tape (with protective liner) to each edge of the acoustic panel and press firmly.
   👉 Applying the tape to the panel first improves long-term adhesion.

3. Remove the red protective liner and press the panel onto the wall.

4. One roll of tape is enough for approximately 10 small or 5 large panels.
